Application Name: Internet Watermark Bulletin
The Internet Watermark™ application allows Providers to display a semi-transparent logo or other meaningful image directly in the browser, usually in a corner. The Watermark appears to float on top of the subscriber's requested page; in reality, it is website-agnostic and totally independent of the requested site. Similar to the watermark images that are used on television to identify the network or announce an upcoming show, the Internet Watermark can be a subtle static logo or include rich media. The degree of transparency is configurable, and the scheduling options provide the same robust flexibility available for all PerfTech bulletins. Intermittent display is highly recommended for these reasons: it maintains an unobtrusive impression, yet piques the user's curiosity when it appears. Its many applications, including image variations, animation, and embedded links, make Internet Watermark an important, multifunctional marketing tool for Providers.
