PERFTECH OPENS 2016 WITH MAJOR EXPANSION ORDERS

For the first quarter of this year, PerfTech announces the receipt of significant expansion orders from two of its existing, top-tier North American ISP customers, as well as the addition of a new mid-tier, U.S.-based ISP customer.  The expansion orders comprise combinations of additional subscriber licenses and equipment to cover growth and/or acquisitions in certain markets.

"It's gratifying to see large members of our customer roster continually invest in the PerfTech messaging solution," stated Sales SVP Jane Christ.  "Their expansion orders are a testament that our solution has become an integral part of their subscriber communications strategy, and that keeping their subscribers informed and engaged has added measurable value to their businesses."

PERFTECH TO EXHIBIT AT INTX 2016

PerfTech travels to Boston in May to exhibit at the Internet and Television Expo hosted by NCTA.  INTX will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center this May 16-18.  PerfTech will exhibit in CableLabs’ Tek Stadium, an educational and technical exhibit area located in the center of the show floor.

INTX, which held its inaugural show in 2015, recognizes that the worlds of the Internet and television, once incompatible, have become practically interchangeable.  PerfTech’s Internet-based in-browser messaging solution is perfectly positioned to provide personalized communication and branding to an ISP’s broadband subscribers across a broad array of use cases, including service notices and cross-platform announcements and promotions.

Drop by our exhibit in the Tek Stadium to discuss or contact PerfTech at 210-893-4000 or sales@perftech.com if an appointment is desired.

Quick Stats: Trial usage-messaging campaign yields high interaction rate and increased revenues

One of PerfTech’s current Bulletin System customers, an ISP who ranks among the top dozen operators in the U.S., recently undertook an in-browser messaging trial to keep their subscribers informed regarding their respective data usage.  There were two factors important for the ISP to evaluate:  1) subscriber interaction with the in-browser message, and 2) follow-on results.

Details of the Trial

The trial ran for a period of 3 months, from 20 October 2015 through 19 January 2016.  About 66%, or 2/3 of the 1M+ subscriber base was included in the scope of the trial; of those, only those subscribers who exceeded 80% of their respective data allowance in a given month received one or more of the following series of message contents:  read more
